College Position: Defensive Tackle - starter for 3 years. all - american - MVP senior year
College All-Star Games: East-West Shrine, Hula Bowl and Senior Bowl
Professional Career: #1 draft choice, 1969, Oakland Raiders - third year became the starting defensive tackle
Pro Accomplishments: “all-pro” 4th, 5th, and 6th year. “NFL Defensive Player of the week” - 10/9/72 - for play against houston
Career Teams: Played a total of 8 years with the Raiders - including being a member of world champion Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XI, coached by John Madden
Spent one year with the Philadelphia Eagles under coach Dick Vermeil
Post Professional Honor: November 7, 1999 - Selected to the Syracuse University 20th Century All-Star Team - one of 44 top players in the 20th century. Other members of the team include: Jim Brown, Ernie Davis, Floyd Little, Larry Csonka, Art Monk, John Mackey and Donavan McNabb.
